Part time Vero Beach resident Liz Lusky, left and Cindy Baker, of Fort Pierce, take turns filling meal bags Saturday at Trinity Episcopal Church. More than 100 people gathered at the Trinity Episcopal Church Saturday to help those who, for no fault of their own, need a nutritious meal. 'Heaven Sent Ministries' and 'Together We Can Haiti,' joined together to package nearly 115,000 meals for Hunger Challenge Vero Beach. The meals consist of rice, soy protein, dried vegetables, chicken flavor and 21 essential vitamins, which will provide meals to 300 school children in two schools for an entire year. The meals 'help people build sustainability,' according to Biz Gainey, of the Pillar Community Church and Heaven Sent Ministries. For more information, go to TWCHaiti.org.
