With hopefully the last of the colder days behind us, there's a lot happening in our area to keep us out and about.
Just this weekend, for example, the Isles of Vero Beach, a retirement community, has three events planned, one a day for March 8-10. This gives us plenty of time to fit it into our busy schedules!
On March 8 at 2 p.m. is an educational seminar on fraud protection. The next day at 2 p.m., they are offering bingo and finally at 11 a.m. on March 10, everyone is invited to their Irish Feast.
The Isles of Vero Beach is located at 1700 Waterford Drive, so stop by and say "Hi!"
If theater is more of what you enjoy, there are several local productions here to enjoy. Really, why drive anywhere else when you can see "Les Mis" at Riverside Theater? This musical is so popular right now, the theater extended the run date through to March 17 so everyone will have a chance to see it.
And we can't forget the Vero Beach Theatre Guild, who is putting on the production "Beauty and the Beast" through March 24.
But if outside is where you want to be, this weekend celebrate the arts at the Under the Oaks show at Riverside Park. It will be here for three days, from March 8 through March 10.
For more family friendly activities, the Indian River County Firefighters' Fair kicks off this week for 10 days of fun and rides.
So as you can see, we're all going to be busy again this week.
See you there!
