INDIAN RIVER COUNTY -
The Seacoast National Bank team came together to support the March of Dimes cake auction at the Heritage Center in downtown Vero Beach on Jan. 24.
In addition to purchasing cakes at the auction, Seacoast National Bank is the 2013 premiere sponsor for Treasure Coast March for Babies, which includes Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties.
Seacoast's donations will support programs that are dedicated to reducing the number of babies born early and/or too small through education about the signs of preterm labor and research into the causes.
In addition to regional support, the bank's Indian River County employees are also raising funds to support the Seacoast team, which will walk in the 2013 March for Babies slated for March 3, under the oaks at Riverside Park in Vero Beach.
"We are proud to be a part of the continuum of support that Seacoast has provided for the March of Dimes for over 25 years," said Cyn DeLee Dalton, senior vice president, regional retail manager of Indian River County. "Within this time span, the March of Dimes has had a significant impact on improving the health of women and children."
Seacoast National Bank is the operating arm of Seacoast Banking Corporation of Florida.
