Business Growth Expo, media auction

The Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce is hosting the first Business Growth Expo on March 28.

The event will be held at the Hilton Rialto from 6-9 pm and will also include a silent and live media auction, where companies can purchase print, broadcast, outdoor, radio and online advertising at a fraction of the cost.

The event is designed to help business startups looking for information rapidly about how to get their companies up and running quickly.

Vendors and speakers will be on hand to educate the small business owner on the latest trends, technologies and products to get their business rolling. The event is also geared toward existing businesses that want to re-brand and refresh company images.

Among some of the planned vendors will be ad agencies, marketing agencies, business development, employment agencies, computer services, caterers, graphic designers, photographers, event planners, florists, hotels, local media, public relations, tax preparer/financial advisors, technology services, training/coaching services, commercial interior designers, internet marketing and social media strategists.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for the exhibits and cocktail hour, followed by silent and live auctions at 6:30 p.m. Breakout sessions will be held in adjoining rooms and feature prominent speakers from the area, who will cover a number of subjects for new or struggling businesses.

The cost to host a booth is $50 for Palm Bay Chamber members, nonprofits and home-based businesses, and $75 for non-members. Cost to attend is $15 per person, and includes hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.

Space is limited, and deadline to book a vendor table is March 15.

The Palm Bay Chamber's mission is to be the voice for the business community and to help guide new businesses in the early growth years.
