MARTIN COUNTY -- Enjoy the latest spring styles as the Shoppes of Harbour Bay Plaza present a luncheon and fashion show to benefit the Hobe Sound Animal Protection League at 12 p.m. March 2.

Tickets cost $28 and include lunch at Renato's Italian Ristorante in Harbour Bay Plaza at Sewall's Point.

Hobe Sound Animal Protection League is a "no kill" organization devoted to the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-socialization of abused, abandoned, and neglected cats from the Martin and St. Lucie areas.

They are one of the only organizations that will accept cats tested positive for feline leukemia. This diagnosis often leads to unnecessary euthanizations.

Through education, HSAPL is increasing awareness that with extra nutrition and care, these special cats do live long and healthy lives.

For tickets, call (772) 380-3655 or visit Moon Islander in Harbour Bay Plaza.
