FORT PIERCE -- The Indian River will be the background for this weekend's jazz festival in downtown Fort Pierce.
Waterside Blues, hosted by the Fort Pierce Jazz and Blues Society, will take place at the Fort Pierce Marina from 1 to 5 p.m. Feb. 24.
The event will feature Pat Pepin, considered to be the first lady of sax. She performs with conviction and power, infusing her music with heart-felt emotion, treating the audience to a Blues experience like none other.
This free event is open to everyone.
