On Feb. 6, Cobra Auditorium at Fort Pierce Central High School was alive with screams and applause as seven student athletes were honored in a special signing ceremony. The students were: Joe Figueroa, who signed with Colgate University; Joshua Knight, who signed with Marshall University; Marcus Levy, who signed with Bowling Green; Stacy Noble, who signed with Jackson State University; Garrett Smith, who signed with Mercer University; Jerandious Works, who signed with Jacksonville University; and Maurice Campbell. The students were called onto the stage to hear their coaches, parents and friends speak on their behalf.

Shown, from left to right, are Joshua Knight, Stacy Noble, Coach Josh Shaffer, Garrett Smith, Marcus Levy, Jerandious Works, and Joe Figureoa.
