Warrants net arrests

On Feb. 13, detectives from the multi-agency criminal enforcement unit conducted two search warrants, which resulted in four arrests and the seizure of drugs and multiple firearms.

Wrapping up an investigation spanning more than two months, MACE detectives served search warrants at 1041 10th Court Southwest and 1037 10th Court Southwest. During the warrant service, the following suspects were arrested.

Rickie Solomon Jr., 26, was charged with possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana.

Charles Wiggins, 65, was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Thomas Solomon, 66, was charged with possession of cocaine.

Thomas Durden Jr., 55, was charged with sale of cocaine.

Additionally, items were seized during the search warrant, including 19 grams of marijuana, one gram of crack cocaine, one shotgun, one .30-.30 rifle and one .25 automatic pistol.

Air crash victims identified

The Indian River County Sheriff's Office has been working throughout the weekend with the U.S. Coast Guard, the NTSB, the Indian River County Fire Rescue Division and the Medical Examiner's Office in reference to the aircraft crash last week.

The identities of the Cessna 310's occupants, all deceased as a result of the crash, are: Robert Krieger, 65, from Polk City; Barry Cody, 65, from Winter Haven and Kit Cody, 67, from Winter Haven and Cody, Wyo.

At this time, there has been no indication that a crime has occurred. As a result, the NTSB will be the primary investigating agency.

Information compiled from police reports.
