INDIAN RIVER COUNTY - Erin Foster Arena, paralegal at the law firm of Rossway Moore Swan, has been appointed to a three-year term on the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee "B" of the Florida Bar.

Ms. Arena was selected to fill one of three available non-lawyer positions on the committee.

A typical case is initiated when an individual files a complaint with the Florida Bar against an attorney. A case may be referred by bar counsel to the Grievance Committee for investigation to determine whether there is cause to believe that a member of The Florida Bar is guilty of misconduct justifying disciplinary action.

Ms. Arena has been with the law firm for 14 years in the litigation department and focuses her attention in the family law practice area. She received her A.S. degree in legal assisting from Indian River Community College in1994, and also earned the Certified Paralegal designation from the National Association of Legal Assistants in 2001, the Florida Certified Paralegal designation from the Paralegal Association of Florida in 2006, and is a Florida Registered Paralegal through the Florida Bar.

Ms. Arena continues enhancing her expertise by participating in certified educational seminars on an on-going basis.

Additionally, she is affiliated with the National Association of Legal Assistants, the Paralegal Association of Florida, Treasure Coast Chapter, and locally with the Indian River County 4-H Foundation.

The Rossway Moore Swan offices are located at 2101 Indian River Blvd., Suite 200 in Vero Beach.
