An amazing tribute to performer Stevie Nicks is coming to the Athens Theatre, Saturday, Feb. 16.
Julie Myers captures Ms. Nicks' best work and brings it to stages worldwide, and is now coming to DeLand.
Many consider the "Nearly Nicks" tribute show the most accurate representation of Ms. Nicks in her prime.
As an accomplished dancer, Ms. Myers has no problem portraying Stevie's on stage theatrics and image at the most energetic point of her career. Together with a six person band and backup singer, she has directed her training to cover and tribute this true legend and queen of rock 'n' roll.
Ms. Myers has performed all over the U.S. in a variety of venues. From extended contracts with a Southern California Casino to selling out seven nights in a row at a Boston concert hall. She has performed in venues small and large or as a part of a cast of tribute artists in the "Edwards Twins", "That 70s Show" at the Rhode Island Stadium Theater Performing Arts Center.
Admission for the performance is $25 for preferred seating (row a-e), $20 adult general admission.
