Farm tour taking place Feb. 16
The Slow Food, Gold & Treasure Coast Chapter will host its second annual farm tour on Feb. 16.
The public is invited to tour more than a dozen farms that share the values of slow food and have agreed to participate in the annual event. The tour is free to the public, although donations to the chapter will be accepted.
To date, 13 farms will open their doors to the public on Feb. 16.

Annual event to raise money for elderly
The third annual Strike Out Hunger fundraiser hosted by The Council on Aging of St. Lucie County at Saint Lucie Lanes is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Feb. 16.
The fundraising event will raise money to buy food for Meals on Wheels.
The fun and festivities begin at 3 p.m., when teams of four and individuals take to the lanes.
For a $25 donation, participants can enjoy two hours of unlimited bowling and free rental shoes.
