Hello, everyone. I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for reading the Hometown News.
It doesn't matter if you pick up a copy of the paper from your driveway or local business, or take a moment to go online and look over the events of the week. Please know that we appreciate everything you do to support us.
We work hard here to try to get all the information we can about what's going on in the area and put that information directly into your hands.
And while we think we're doing a good job at it, I would like to hear from you.
You are the ones who go to the events, receive the awards and do amazing things we can't wait to share with everyone.
But, I think there's always room to do more. If you know of something going on in the area, let us know. If you know of a new business that just opened, or someone who deserves a little recognition, give us the information. We would be more than happy to help.
There's so much going on in the area, we don't want to miss anything or anybody.
So here's how to get hold of us. For the newsroom, just send a quick email to newsfp@hometownnewsol.com. If you'd rather talk to someone in person, call (772) 467-4362. That's my direct number, and I would love to meet you and get to know you better.
You see, we already have something in common -- we both love sharing how great this area is to live and work in.
Look to this column in future weeks, where I'll start naming names of people and businesses that are doing great things.
Who knows, it might even be about you!
