FORT PIERCE -- On State Road 70, just a mile or so outside of Fort Pierce, Thomas Farm Feed and Hay Supply have been helping the agricultural community in the area for a number of years with their animals' needs.

Now, Thomas Fitzsimmons, an authorized dealer of Carolina Carports Incorporated, has added even more quality for his customers by becoming the exclusive dealer of Weather King portable buildings and Bennett Building Systems.

The best part is he can now serve the needs of residential customers, as well as keep the same high standards for his agricultural customers.

"I became an authorized dealer for CCI about three years ago," Mr. Fitzsimmons said. "Now, in addition to carports, I can offer residents the best quality in garages, barns and custom buildings."

Being the authorized dealer of three storage building companies gives customers complete control over size, function and even color of their building.

"I've built sheds that have been used for hunting and fishing cabins, art studios, business offices and even just extra storage space," he said. "The customer picks what they want to fit their needs, and we build it for them."

Word of mouth of his quality work and dedication to his customers has kept Mr. Fitzsimmons busy since he expanded.

"In one month, I've sold 20 buildings," he said. "I'm overwhelmed at the response I've received. The people here are wonderful, and I couldn't ask for better customers."

Not only do residential customers appreciate the extra storage steps from their home, the quality buildings help build additional equity in the properties.

As far as commercial work goes, Mr. Fitzsimmons has built government buildings, churches and more for area residents.

Customers can now not only control the length and width of the building, they have the opportunity to choose color and roof style, all with the knowledge that all of these buildings are built to hurricane standards, making them Florida-certified buildings.

There's even convenient payment plans available, giving customers the option of low monthly payments with no credit checks.

But as far as he's concerned, he's going to give the same amount of dedication to someone buying a shed as he would to someone buying a large barn.

"Big or small, the quality remains the same," he said. "And when you have something you believe in, it's easy to do."

CCI buildings are located at 10700 Okeechobee Road in Fort Pierce. For more information, call (772) 882-SHED or go online to www.ccibuildings.com.
