Fundraiser to benefit rescued horses

PALM CITY -- Equine Rescue and Adoption Foundation is presenting "Art in the Barn" on March 9 from 4-7 p.m.

The event will take place at Caring Fields Animal Sanctuary located at 6452 S.W. Markel Road in Palm City.

Original art will be displayed in the barn and is being presented by artists from the Artist Association of Jupiter with 20 percent of the proceeds going to the ERAF to benefit rescued horses.

Tickets are $50 per person and will include beer, wine food and fun with the horses. There will be a silent auction and raffle and riding demonstrations on several of recently adopted rescues.

The group welcomes all donations for this event.

Equine Rescue and Adoption Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to rescue and rehabilitate horses and place them through adoption.
