Vero Beach High School's girl's varsity soccer team scored big last Thursday evening by beating St. Lucie West Centennial 4-1 in the District 6-5A championship. Vero's Alana Hockenhull, right, exits a celebration tunnel and returns to the field for the trophy presentation. The Lady Indians finished the season undefeated at 19-0-0. The team moved on to the regional quarterfinal match Jan. 23.
