The Mind, Body, Spirit Center: Inez Bracy International and Doolin Healing Sanctuary in Orange City will celebrate its two-year anniversary Feb.16, and event planning is underway.

Inez Bracy and Daya Devi-Doolin complement each other. Sitting in the center's reception area the two women, who have pooled their resources in a joint mission to help others, glanced at each other frequently, nodding in agreement. Each appeared genuinely interested in what the other had to say.

The women were destined to connect. People who knew them both said they needed to meet. Neither of them forced the meeting. One day, at a book signing, it just happened. They figured if it was supposed to, it would.

And -- there's just no other way to say it -- their smiles radiate pure joy, the kind you want to grab and run away with, but you can't move because it's so peaceful right there with them.

Inez Bracy is, among other things, a life coach who aims to initiate personal development through customized training -- primarily in high performers, baby-boomer women and both independent and corporate decision makers. In short, she is an expert at extracting the potential that lies within.

"We pride ourselves on being a place for people to come be serene through body work, breath work and yoga," Ms. Bracy said. "This is a place for people to connect with themselves again. So many have lost that and they look for happiness outside. We teach them to find it on the inside."

The keynote speaker, author, trainer, seminar presenter, Reiki practitioner and NLP programmer shares strategies on dealing with change and creating the best life in the present. She was a regular on the Fox News Morning Blend show in Cape Coral.

Her Blog Talk Radio show, "Living Smart and Well" where she provides tips to "creating the life you desire" is broadcast worldwide on Mondays at 2 p.m., EST, at livingsmartandwell.com.

"I have always been a seeker, a self-help person. I'd pay to go to these seminars, and I'd tell my friends, 'It's what I need,'" Ms. Bracy said.

Daya Devi-Doolin is an ordained Unity minister, spiritual counselor, international speaker, author, singer-songwriter and radio/TV personality. She hosts Blog Talk Radio's "The Only Way Out is In" -- heard around the world -- Thursdays from 2-2:30 p.m., EST, at blogtalkradio.com/padaran.

Ms. Devi-Doolin is also a Certified Reiki Master Teacher, Certified BodyTalk Practitioner, Matrix Energetics Practitioner, Registered Hatha Yoga Alliance Instructor and Conscious Connected Breathworker.

She said her life's calling was realized "through the Holy Spirit."

"I asked, 'Why do some of my goals get met but not others?'" Ms. Devi-Doolin explained. "I said, 'I know a formula is there.'"

It turned out she was right. She said the formula was revealed through her asking that higher power the "right kind of question" and "believing" the answer would come.

"When I did that (whatever was asked for) was manifested," she said.

Ms. Devi-Doolin wanted to share what she learned.

"I like the fact that people can come here ... it's a place for discovering you're already who you want to be," she said.

"There are a lot of things we do," Ms. Bracy said.

Primarily they seek to empower others.

"You can take a pill and feel better, but your disease is still there," she said. "I'm not saying don't go to the doctor. But we are trying to teach people to use their minds in a most positive way to heal themselves."

Both women were born into the Southern Baptist faith.

"My mother gave me a foundation, a Biblical foundation," Ms. Bracy said. "As I got older I started to question. I became a seeker. My mom, bless her soul, allowed me the freedom to search and come back and talk to her."

Ms. Bracy smiled at the memory.

"My mother said, 'If you're paying that much attention, you don't have to go (to church) unless you want to.' That has stayed with me for my entire life," Ms. Bracy said.

She said her mother had an uncanny ability to connect individually with each of her seven children, never allowing one to feel less important than the others.

That gift, as Ms. Bracy perceived it, has reached out through her to others who are seeking to recover from years of powerless discomfort.

Ms. Devi-Doolin said it was her brother, "a doctor of pathology," who helped her find her spiritual path.

Though a scientist by trade, Ms. Devi-Doolin said his guidance hinted at something beyond the physical.

"He had another side of him. He was really, really in tune," she said. "He got me to know there are other dimensions. I ended up helping him ... with insights ... when he had serious decisions to make, regarding health."

"Your health, and all areas of your life including relationships, abundance, everything, is really up to you. It's not outside of you," Ms. Bracy said. "We get to open ourselves up to allowing, accepting and receiving. We also get to allow and release. Imagine what happens when you get to release. It opens up space for all this new stuff."
