Memorial service for Ethel Vivan Clinton-Lilly, age 79, of Oak Hill, who died Sunday, Jan. 13, at Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, Edgewater, will be 10 0 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 26, at Settle-Wilder's New Smyrna Beach chapel.
Born in New Smyrna Beach, Ms. Clinton-Lilly was valedictorian of Class of 1951.

Gwynelle Walden Ledger
Gwynelle Walden Ledger, 80, of New Smyrna Beach, died Friday, Jan. 11, at home.
Born in Bartow, Ga., Mrs. Ledger came to Volusia County in 1956 from Clay County. A homemaker, she was a member of South Haven Christian Church.

William F. Buckman Sr.
William F. Buckman Sr., 78, of Edgewater, died Saturday, Dec. 29, at the Hospice Care Center in Edgewater.
Born on Nov. 11, 1934, in Salem, Ohio, he moved to Edgewater this year from Leesburg. Mr. Buckman served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. A graduate from the DeVry Technical Institute in Chicago, he was a quality control manager for Lockheed-Martin in Orlando and Baltimore. He was a member of the Southpointe Baptist Fellowship in Leesburg and an avid golfer.

Eugene A. "Gene" Gentile
Eugene A. "Gene" Gentile of Port Orange, 82, died on Saturday, Jan. 12.
Born in Chester, Penn., Mr. Gentile came to Florida in 1959 from Williamson, W.V. A retired commercial concrete contractor, he was well-known in the Daytona Beach area.

Frederick Eugene "Skip" Thompson
Frederick Eugene "Skip" Thompson, 86, Port Orange FL died Sunday, Jan. 13, at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach.
He was born in Jamestown, Ohio, Dec. 11, 1926. He moved to Xenia, Ohio where he worked at the Xenia Daily Gazette for 25 years. In 1974 the family moved to Ormond Beach. He retired from the Casa Del Mar in Ormond Beach after 24 years of service.

Betty J. Hayes
Betty J. Hayes, 80, of DeLand, died Sunday, Jan. 13, at home.
Born in Chattanooga, Tenn., Mrs. Hayes was a long time resident of DeLand. She owned and operated Betty Hayes Realty, and was past president of the West Volusia Association of Realtors. She also was a member of the DeLand Garden Club and was active with MainStreet DeLand.
