Boat show returns for three-day stint
The 39th annual Stuart Boat Show returns Jan. 11 for three days.
Hundreds of different boat brands and models will be represented, including the latest models of motor yachts, cruisers, trawlers, skiffs, speedboats, sport fishing boats and pontoons.
The show runs from Jan. 11-13 and is located along the St. Lucie River and SR 707/Old Dixie Highway at the foot of the Roosevelt Bridge.
Show hours are Friday, Jan. 11 and Saturday, Jan. 12 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission is $10 for adults and children under 10 are free. Parking with water taxi and shuttle service is available.

Wedding seminar to be held Jan. 13
On Jan. 13, Eventful Moments bridal consultants will host "Weddings 411," a how-to seminar and live mock wedding at Indian RiverSide Park in Jensen Beach from 1-5 p.m. Entrance is $5 per guest.
"Weddings 411" and the live mock wedding will begin at 1 p.m. with a real ceremony on the dock.
Guests will then head upstairs to the banquet room for a cocktail hour and reception, during which they will mingle with wedding vendors, participate in an ask the experts session, taste menus and cakes and enjoy a chocolate fountain, photo booth, video, music and much more.
