MARTIN COUNTY --
The Art Associates of Martin County have gifted more than 25 original art pieces to the Samaritan Center for Young Boys & Families.
Created by various members of the art association, the pieces are now hanging in the center's newly completed Seymour St. John Learning and Activity Center.
"Original art can motivate a child to try their hand at some sort of art, but can also stimulate their imagination overall," said Amy Christensen, community development director for the Samaritan Center.
"We are so grateful to the Art Associates of Martin County for adopting this project and sharing not only their incredible talent, but also their heart for community and philanthropy."
A Christian-based, residential, early intervention program, Samaritan Center addresses the behavioral and academic issues of young boys at risk.
