Ken Ludwig's madcap golfing comedy "The Fox on the Fairway" opens at the Little Theatre of New Smyrna Beach this Friday, for a two-weekend run, closing with a 2 p.m. matinee, Sunday, Jan. 20.
"The Fox on the Fairway" is a madcap adult adventure about love, life, and man's eternal love affair with ... golf. Two rival country clubs, Quail Valley and Crouching Squirrel, prepare for their annual grudge match. A massive private wager is made between the two CEOs just before the best player switches teams.
Filled with mistaken romance, dreadful attire, emotional mulligans and silly shenanigans, the play is really about love and the joys and angst and craziness of love in two different eras of life.
Harriet Winokur directs this comedy.
Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. with the closing matinee performance Sunday, Jan. 20.
Individual ticket prices are $16 adults, $15 seniors and $8 students.
