The Little Theatre of New Smyrna Beach will conduct its WonderLand Children's Theatre beginning Jan. 23.
On six Wednesday afternoons, WonderLand provides an opportunity to perform while learning about other areas of theatre, such as set design, prop creation and costumes.
Class is 4 to 5 p.m. for children ages 5 to 9, and 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. for children ages 10 to 14. Tuition for each of the winter classes is $70. Some scholarships are available.
Students must enroll prior to attending class, as there are no walk-ins and class sizes are limited.

Little Theatre sets acting and directing classes
Beginning acting class and a beginning directing class will be from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Jan. 12, 19, 26, Feb. 2 and 9.
This class consists of five workshop sessions for persons who want to learn about acting. These classes will build on each other and participants must be there for every session. Attendees must be 18 years of age or older.
Beginning directing class covers the guidelines for a director working at Little Theatre. Students will learn about choosing a script for auditions, what to look for in auditions, how to build a crew for a show. The basics of blocking, stage terminology, and set development will be covered. There will be tips on how to help actors develop a character.
