PORT ST. LUCIE -- On Jan. 13, bowling centers nationwide will participate to stamp out muscular dystrophy when the National Association of Letter Carriers' hosts its "Deliver the Cure Bowl" fundraiser.
The National Association of Letter Carriers has led the search to stamp out neuromuscular diseases for half a century, being the first official national sponsor since 1952. In the past 15 years they earned more than $20 million for the MDA.
The fourth annual Deliver the Cure Bowl runs from 1-3 p.m. at Saint Lucie Lanes on Jan. 13. Local NALC Branch 1690 will enjoy a day of bowling food and fun while supporting their longtime favorite cause.
The public is welcome to join in the fundraising for this cause by donating $20, which includes two hours of bowling and rental shoes along with the chance to win door prizes, raffles and 50/50s.
Saint Lucie Lanes is located at 6759 S. U.S. 1 in Port St. Lucie.
