Creedence Clearwater Revisited will perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the Peabody Auditorium in Daytona Beach.
The rock band CCR produced hit after hit in their heyday.
Original band members Stu Cook and Doug "Cosmo" Clifford answered the public clamor for "more CCR" more than two decades ago and launched Creedence Clearwater Revisited, adding a new chapter to the legacy, touring worldwide.
Driven in part by a generation of kids who, as Mr. Cosmo said, "weren't even born when the music came out," audience reaction has been astounding.
Creedence Clearwater Revisited released "Recollection" which reached platinum status. Veteran musicians John Tristao, a commanding tenor; lead guitarist Kurt Griffey; and multi-instrumentalist Steve Gunner round out the sound.
CCR performs classic hits including "Who'll Stop the Rain," "Proud Mary," "Bad Moon Rising," "Fortunate Son," "Born on the Bayou," "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?" and "Down on the Corner."
