Painting class planned

A Wake & Paint class will be from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Jan. 12, at The Hub on Canal, 132 Canal St., New Smyrna Beach.

The class is for any level of experience. The cost is $35 per person, which includes all art supplies.

Drawing and painting class slated

"Impressions of the Hub's Courtyard" with artist Beau Wild will be from 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesdays Jan. 9, 16, 23 & 30, at Studio 16 at The Hub on Canal, 132 Canal St., New Smyrna Beach.

Participants will draw and paint from Beau's photographs of the courtyard.

Fee for this four-week course is $100. There is a maximum of six students. Open to all levels from beginners to experienced.

To reserve a space, send a deposit of $25 to Beau Wild at The Hub, 132 Canal Street, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168.

Learn about appraisals and appreciation

The Hub on Canal will host a film forum, "Appraisal & Appreciation," each Wednesday beginning at 1:15 p.m. Jan. 9 for four weeks and a second session starting Feb. 6 for four weeks, at 132 Canal St., New Smyrna Beach.

The cost is $60 for each of the four-week sessions. There also is a $6 materials fee. Reservations are required by Jan. 4.

Facilitator will be Warren W. Spencer.
