ST. LUCIE COUNTY --
Women and men of St. Lucie County are invited to join the newly formed Treasure Coast chapter of the National Organization for Women.
"We're excited and energized by the response of our local community," said Mindi Fettermen, president of Treasure Coast NOW.
"We have a broad agenda of priorities that we will be addressing in the coming year, from stopping violence against women to advocating for economic justice and reproductive rights. Treasure Coast NOW will continue to push for positive social change that ultimately benefits all and move the next generation forward."
Meetings will be held at the Treasure Coast Children's Services Council of St. Lucie County, 546 N.W. University Drive, Suite 201, Port St. Lucie, on the third Tuesday of each month.
