The St. Lucie County office of media relations is now accepting applications for its video production grant program.
The grant program will award one 60-second video public service announcements to a nonprofit organization and/or government agency located in St. Lucie County.
Grant applications are available now and must be completed and returned to the office of media relations by Feb. 4..
To apply, agencies must be nonprofit and/or government agencies with an office located in St. Lucie County for at least the past 12 months. The grant will be awarded in March 2013 and production must be completed before December 2013.
Past winners include: the Treasure Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, the Early Learning Coalition, United for Families, the Florida Forestry Service, United Way of St. Lucie County, Exchange Club CASTLE and Children's Home Society.

Applications can also be picked up at the St. Lucie County office of media relations, 2300 Virginia Ave., Fort Pierce (on the third floor, south of the commission chambers) between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
