Luncheon to benefit nonprofit
The Founding Friends of Treasure Coast Hospice will hold a butterfly luncheon on Jan. 28 at Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club.
This year's luncheon will include a fashion show and silent auction.
Tickets are $100 and all proceeds will benefit Treasure Coast Hospice.

Free skin cancer screenings available
McKay Dermatology & MedSpa will offer free skin cancer screenings to the public throughout December and January at their Stuart and Hobe Sound offices.
This program offers the opportunity for dermatologists to educate the public about skin cancer prevention and early detection while saving lives by finding skin cancers in their earliest, most treatable stages.

Business meeting to discuss various issues
There will be a business briefing on the evening of Dec. 26 and each following Wednesday at 2415 S.E. Dixie Highway in Stuart.
From 7-7:30 p.m. is meet and greet networking and from 7:30-8:30 p.m. is the event. Highlights on identity theft and various legal issues such as family law and real estate will be discussed.
The event is free and will have a speaker.
