Marine center to host holiday day camp
The Smithsonian Marine Ecosystems Exhibit will hold its annual holiday camp from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Dec. 15.
Advance registration is required as space is limited. Cost is $15 per child for members and $18 per child for non-members.
The Smithsonian Marine Ecosystems Exhibit is located in the St. Lucie County Aquarium at 420 Seaway Drive on South Hutchinson Island in Fort Pierce.

Nonprofit collecting unwrapped toys
Open Arms Early Childhood Learning Center is asking community members to donate new, unwrapped donate to the WPSL "Christmas Kids" toy drive through Dec. 16.
Donations can be dropped off at Open Arms of Fort Pierce, co-located within Trinity Lutheran Church, on the corner of Virginia Avenue and 13th Street at 2015 S. 13th St.
