INDIAN RIVER COUNTY -- The Indian River Genealogical Society and the Indian River County Main Library's genealogy department will offer a series of eight classes for beginning genealogy researchers.
Classes run from Jan. 9 through Feb. 27 and will be taught by Pamela J. Cooper, the department's head.
The $35 fee includes membership in the society and course materials.
Each class will begin at 9:30 a.m. and run until noon. The classes will be held in the main library's large, first floor meeting room, 1600 21st St., Vero Beach.
Class size is limited to 60 people. Please register no later than Jan. 4, 2013.
